NO TECH-SPEAK. PROMISE.
SEO, AIO, backlinks, Google Business Profile… you don’t need to know any of it to own a great website — that’s our job. But if you like to understand what you’re buying, here’s every term in everyday words, and how it helps people find you, trust you and reach out.
In your packageSEO Search Engine Optimization
Setting up your website so Google and other search engines clearly understand who you are, what you do and where you work — the right page titles, descriptions, headings, fast loading and a mobile-friendly layout.
For you: it helps people searching things like “realtor near me” or “homes for sale in [your town]” find your site instead of only a portal or your brokerage.
In your packageAIO AI Optimization · AI-search readiness
The newer cousin of SEO. More people now ask AI tools — ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, Gemini, Copilot — “who’s a good agent in my area?” AIO means writing and organizing your site so those tools can read it, understand it and describe you accurately.
For you: clear answers about your services, area and experience give AI assistants something trustworthy to point people to. (You may also hear it called GEO or AEO.)
Keywords
The actual words and phrases your future clients type or say when they search — “first-time homebuyer agent,” “sell my house fast,” “luxury homes on the lake.”
For you: we write your site in the same language your clients use, so the people looking for you and the words on your pages match up.
Local SEO Service area
The part of SEO focused on place: your city, neighborhoods, ZIP codes and the communities you serve, plus matching information across Google, Yelp and other directories.
For you: real estate is local. Local signals help you show up for searches in the areas where you actually want to work.
Structured data Schema markup
Invisible labels inside your website’s code that tell search engines and AI tools, in their own language, “this is a real estate professional, here’s the phone number, the service area and the answers to common questions.”
For you: visitors never see it, but it makes your information easier for Google and AI tools to read correctly.
Google Business Profile
The free business listing that appears on the right side of Google Search and in Google Maps — your name, photos, phone, hours, reviews and a “Website” button.
For you: it’s often the very first thing a prospect sees. Linking your profile and your website to each other, with matching details, helps both look established and trustworthy.
Google Maps
When someone searches “real estate agent near me,” Google shows a map with nearby businesses. Your Google Business Profile is what puts you on that map.
For you: a pin on the map plus a website behind it turns a quick search into a call, a text or a booked consultation.
Google Search Console
A free Google tool that confirms you own your website, tells Google about all of your pages and shows which searches are leading people to you.
For you: it’s how your site formally “introduces itself” to Google — and how you can later see what people searched to find you.
Analytics
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics is the best known): how many people visited, which pages they read and whether they came from Google, Instagram, Yelp or a link somewhere else.
For you: instead of guessing which marketing works, you can see where your website visitors actually come from.
Yelp
A review and business-listing site (and app) that many people check before they call anyone. Real estate agents can claim a free Yelp page with photos, details and client reviews.
For you: a complete Yelp page that links to your website is one more place people can discover you — and one more source of reviews that build confidence.
Reddit
A huge collection of online discussion communities — like r/RealEstate, r/FirstTimeHomeBuyer or your own city’s page — where people ask honest questions and get answers from real people.
For you: Google and AI tools increasingly surface Reddit conversations. Genuinely helpful answers (never spammy ads) can build your reputation and send curious readers to your site.
In your packageSocial media Facebook · Instagram · TikTok · LinkedIn · YouTube
Where your community already spends its time. Your posts, listings and videos get attention there; your website is where interested people go next to learn more and contact you.
For you: we connect your social profiles to your website so every post can point back to one professional home. (Daily social media management and paid ads are separate services.)
Online reviews
Star ratings and written feedback from past clients on Google, Yelp, Zillow, Facebook and similar sites.
For you: reviews are word-of-mouth for the internet. People trust other people — and search engines notice businesses that are consistently well reviewed.
Backlinks
A backlink is simply another website linking to yours — a local news story, your brokerage, a lender or title partner, a community group, a chamber of commerce, a directory.
For you: search engines treat good backlinks like votes of confidence: “a trusted site says this agent is worth visiting.” Quality matters far more than quantity — good links are earned from real relationships, never bought from spam networks.
Citations & NAP Name · Address · Phone
Every online mention of your business name, address (or service area) and phone number — on Google, Yelp, Facebook, Zillow, directories and more.
For you: when your details match everywhere, Google and AI tools are more confident they’re all you. Mismatched old numbers or addresses cause confusion.
Referral traffic
Visitors who arrive by clicking a link somewhere else — an Instagram bio, a Yelp page, a Reddit comment, an email signature, a partner’s website.
For you: every profile and post you already have can become a doorway to your website, not just a dead end.
Call to action CTA
The clear next step on a page: “Book a consultation,” “Get my home value,” “Call me,” “Search homes.”
For you: views only matter if they turn into conversations. Clear calls to action turn a visitor into an interaction — and an interaction into a sale.
In your packageDomain
Your website’s address — like yourname.com. You rent it yearly from a registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap or Squarespace.
For you: we connect a domain you already own, or help you get one. Registration and renewal fees are separate unless your agreement includes them.
In your packageHosting
The always-on computer service that stores your website and delivers it to anyone who visits, day or night.
For you: standard hosting, routine maintenance and technical support are included — no separate hosting plan to buy.
SSL / HTTPS The padlock
The little padlock next to a web address. It means information sent through your site, like a contact form, is encrypted and private.
For you: browsers warn visitors about sites without it, and Google prefers secure sites. It’s standard on modern hosting.
In your packageMobile-first
Designing for phones first, then larger screens. Most people look up an agent, a listing or a phone number on their phone.
For you: your site looks great and is easy to tap and read on any phone — which is also what Google checks first.
Connection optionsIDX / MLS
The MLS is the shared database of homes for sale. IDX is the approved way to show those listings, with home search, on your own website.
For you: visitors can browse listings without leaving your site. We offer listing/MLS connection options; IDX provider and MLS fees are separate.
